THE LUCKY ONE (M) starring Zac Efron commences this week.
U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq - with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive--a photograph he found of a woman he doesn`t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives - he shows up at her door - and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel.
Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life - a romance develops between them - giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN [M] Now Showing.
From the director of Chocolat and the Oscar-winning` screenwriter of Slumdog Millionaire comes the inspirational comedy Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. When Britain`s leading fisheries expert (Ewan McGregor) is approached by a consultant (Emily Blunt) to help realize a sheikh`s (Amr Waked) vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert - he immediately thinks the project is both absurd and unachievable.
But when the Prime Minister`s overzealous press secretary (Kristin Scott Thomas) latches on to it as a ``good will`` story - this unlikely team will put it all on the line and embark on an upstream journey of faith and fish to prove the impossible - possible.

When Tom Solomon (Jason Segel) proposes to his girlfriend Violet Barnes (Emily Blunt) - things don`t go as planned. Violet has to relocate after receiving the opportunity to work at the University of Michigan.
The five year period gives Tom and Violet more than enough time to question whether they are really meant to be married after all. Romantic comedy from producer Judd Apatow (Superbad) - starring Jason Segel (The Muppets) and Emily Blunt (The Adjustment Bureau) as a couple who keep getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle.

Set in contemporary Iran - A SEPARATION is a compelling drama about the dissolution of a marriage.
Simin wants to leave Iran with her husband Nader and daughter Termeh. Simin sues for divorce when Nader refuses to leave behind his Alzheimer-suffering father. Her request having failed - Simin returns to her parents` home - but Termeh decides to stay with Nader.
When Nader hires a young woman to assist with his father in his wife`s absence - he hopes that his life will return to a normal state. However - when he discovers that the new maid has been lying to him - he realizes that there is more on the line than just his marriage.

LATE BLOOMERS [PG] FINAL WEEKS!
In writer/director Julie Gavras` delightfully warm and wise romantic comedy - the inestimable Isabella Rossellini and Academy Award-winner William Hurt play a couple whose 30-year marriage is starting to run into trouble.
Hurt is Adam - a London-based architect horrified to find himself the recipient of awards that suggest he`s reached the end of his career - while wife Mary (Rossellini) - taken aback by an unexpected health scare - sets a course of radical action in league with her vivacious best friend Charlotte (Joanna Lumley). As Adam & Mary respond to these challenges in completely opposite and unpredictable ways (successfully infuriating each other in the process) - their three adult children plot to find ways to keep them together.
With luminous supporting performances from a mix of established and upcoming British acting talent (including Simon Callow - Kate Ashfield and Luke Treadaway) - Late Bloomers is an elegant and engaging portrait of marriage - and the joys & realities of getting on.

Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure - they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self.
Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined - they are forever transformed by their shared experiences - discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.

BEL AMI -- commences next week from MAY 24th. Box office sensation Robert Pattinson stars in this adaptation of the classic French novel Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant - a literary powder-keg of its time - a story full of sexual intrigue - scandal and manipulation. Other than to avoid disappointment with availability or seating allocation, it also helps us decide (sometimes at the last minute!) which auditoriums to place the films in day to day, should one film be more popular than another.
