Dwayne Johnson is �The Tooth Fairy,� also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockeyplayer whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids.
When Derek discourages a youngster�s hopes, he�s sentenced to one week�s hard labor as a real tooth fairy,complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand.
At first, Derek �can�t handle the tooth� � bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers� homes...doing what tooth fairies do.
But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams

However his mother THERESA has great hopes for him and she returns him to the religious mission inPerth for further schooling.
After being punished by FATHER BENEDICTUS (Geoffrey Rush) for an act of youthful rebellion,Willie runs away from the mission.
But to where... he's too ashamed to go home, it will break his mother's heart.
Down on his luck he meets an old fella, who he calls 'Uncle' TADPOLE (Ernie Dingo), and together they cona couple of hippies, ANNIE (Missy Higgins) and SLIPPERY, into taking them on the 2,500 km journeythrough spectacular landscape back to Broome.
Willie learns the hard and funny lessons he needs to get home, all the while pursued by Father Benedictus.

The new George Clooney film UP IN THE AIR (M) and NOWHERE BOY (M) are both confirmed tocommence on February 4th.

February 11th brings us VALENTINE'S DAY (M), a comedy about 10 people in Los Angeles whose lives intersecton this particular romantic holiday.
Directed by Garry Marshall and starring Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner,Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Topher Grace, Emma Roberts, Hector Elizondo, Bryce Robinson,Patrick Dempsey, and Eric Dane.

As I always encourage you to do so, Bookings are strongly recommended for all films. Other than to avoid disappointment with availability or seating allocation, it also helps us decide (sometimes at the last minute!) which auditoriums to place the films in day to day, should one film be more popular than another. Also, should there be last minute filmchanges or cancellations, we can tell you so, on the phone.
If we know to expect you, it can make the world of difference on the day!!

Just a note, for those moviegoers who enjoy our selection of art/foreign/subtitled films, please be sure to catch the film in the first week or two, as most titles are unlikely to sustain longer seasons.
