We have developed an exciting and simple online fundraising format for clubs
and schools and we invite your club to participate in a trial.
All that is required is that members of your club or school community visit
your club's unique fundraising page (which we provide) and register their
support just once a day!!
On each visit they also have the opportunity to win a Waverley Cinema Online
Double Pass (forwarded by email) if they match the correct three images.
The more they visit the greater the chance of winning!!
After the club supporter has used the site just once then then this process
need only take 15 seconds each day!!
Their name (or nick name) and valid email address are remembered by the site,
so all they have to do is push the 'register' button.
(Email addresses will only be used for the notification of any prizes won)
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each daily visit to the fundraising site earns the club 2 cents.
Even the smallest clubs (20 or 30 online supporters) could quietly raise
50 cents a day which equates to $3.50 a week, $12 per month or almost
$150 per year. More for clubs and schools with larger communities.
Naturally, your community should be encouraged to have as many of their
friends, relatives and even work colleagues register their daily support as well.
(a lot easier than asking them to buy chocolates, raffle tickets or lamingtons!)
(1) For clubs or schools that prefer or need immediate fundraising dollars,
a cheque will be automatically forwarded for amounts of $50 (2500 visits) and over.
(2) All clubs will receive the Waverley Cinema Fundraiser
double pass every 100 visits.
These are used by many of the schools in the area for incentives, Trivia Night
prizes etc. They have restrictions as to when they may be used.
As you can see, you are not asking your community to spend money buying products
to support the club or school.
All they have to do is visit the fundraiser page daily.
The club secretary/treasurer (or nominated official) is emailed a weekly
report of visits to their page. This ensures the efforts of your community are
recognised weekly, and you will be able to track your fundraising progress.
The club official is then able to communicate the fundraising progress to club
members via whatever means they have on hand, website, newsletter, email etc
in order to maintain the enthusiasm.
Obviously at the same time your community visits the page they are being made
aware of our current and forthcoming movies, as well as our "family friendly"
prices, and as a result of that we are more than happy to support your club.
Once we have "roadtested" the concept we will invite several other local enterprises
to partner with us in this project.
Currently we feel that local restaurants would welcome the promotion and thus
provide even more support for local clubs.
